Peptide Reconstitution Kit

BAC water, insulin syringes, and alcohol swabs for research peptide preparation

4.4
(1,800 community reviews)

A peptide reconstitution kit provides the essential supplies for preparing lyophilized research peptides: bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol), insulin syringes (0.3ml or 0.5ml, 29–31 gauge), and alcohol prep pads. Required for BPC-157, TB-500, epitalon, and other injectable peptides.

How It Works

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides must be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water before injection. BAC water's benzyl alcohol preservative allows multi-dose use over 3–4 weeks when stored refrigerated. Insulin syringes provide precise micro-dose measurement for mcg-level peptides like BPC-157.

1

Bacteriostatic Water

0.9% benzyl alcohol preserved water for reconstituting lyophilized peptides. Multi-dose vial stays sterile for 28 days refrigerated.

2

Insulin Syringes

0.3ml or 0.5ml syringes with 29–31 gauge needles for subcutaneous peptide injection. U-100 insulin syringes are standard.

3

Sterile Technique

Alcohol swabs for vial tops and injection sites. Proper technique prevents contamination of reconstituted peptides.

What You'll Experience

Setup

First use

Inject BAC water into peptide vial, gently swirl (never shake). Draw dose with insulin syringe.

Storage

Ongoing

Reconstituted peptides refrigerated, use within 3–4 weeks. Label vials with reconstitution date.

Technique

Week 1

Subcutaneous injection becomes routine. Rotate injection sites (abdomen, thigh).

Benefits

Proper Reconstitution

Strong Evidence

BAC water is the standard solvent for multi-dose peptide vials.

Precise Dosing

Strong Evidence

Insulin syringes enable accurate mcg-level measurement for research peptides.

Sterile Preparation

Moderate Evidence

Complete kit reduces contamination risk during peptide preparation.

Risks & Considerations

Contamination

medium risk

Poor technique can contaminate peptides. Always swab vial tops and use sterile needles.

Research Use Only

medium risk

Peptides and supplies are sold for research purposes. Not medical devices.

Needle Disposal

medium risk

Use sharps containers for used syringe disposal. Never reuse needles.

Mostly Positive

Standard kit recommendation for anyone starting injectable peptides. 'Get BAC water, not sterile water, for multi-dose vials.'

  • ·Always use bacteriostatic water, not sterile water
  • ·0.3ml syringes best for precise mcg dosing
  • ·Label reconstitution dates on every vial
