How It Works
Reverse osmosis forces water through a semipermeable membrane with pores small enough to block dissolved ions, PFAS molecules, and microplastics. Unlike carbon filtration which adsorbs some chemicals, RO physically rejects contaminants. The tradeoff: RO strips beneficial minerals too, so remineralization drops or a post-filter are recommended.
