Inline chlorine-reduction filter — skin and hair, not a drinking-water system
The SF100 is a ½-inch inline shower filter (carbon, calcium sulfite, redox media) aimed at chlorine smell, dry skin, and hair. It is not a Berkey and not a replacement for an RO drinking system. How It Works
Activated carbon and calcium sulfite reduce free chlorine; KDF/redox media is the usual heavy-metal/scale story. Shower filters are weaker than under-sink RO. They can help skin comfort; they do not make tap water lab-grade.
Inline on the Arm
Hand-tighten onto a standard ½-inch shower arm. Tools crack housings. Tape and washers are in the box.
Chlorine and Odor
Hot-water chlorine and chloramine reduction is the honest job. ‘Vitamin C infusion’ is marketing around the cartridge.
Cartridge Cadence
SFC100 every 3–6 months depending on water. A dead cartridge is just a chrome weight.
